SURVEY: Who are the best employers for IT professionals?

The worst seems to be over. After an enormous wave of redundancies rolled through US tech companies and then spilled over into Germany , the situation has apparently calmed down again.
Nevertheless, the German market for IT jobs is sending mixed signals. The number of software developers in permanent employment, for example, reached a new high of 326,150 at the beginning of this year. At the same time, however, unemployment in this sector has also risen , while the skills gap has recently shrunk, according to Kofa , because fewer companies are looking for IT specialists due to the economic situation.
We want to know how IT specialists in Germany – you – are really doing in your job. That's why we're asking for your opinion again to highlight the employers IT experts really want to work for.
The fourth IT employer survey by Golem.de
Our major survey is taking place for the fourth time since 2021 ( results here ) – and for the second time in collaboration with our partner Fittkau & Maaß. Together with our partner, we have developed a catalogue of questions that is specifically tailored to the needs of IT professionals. We also took into account the feedback from last year in order to further optimise the questionnaire.
Last year, almost 14,000 people took part in the survey and more than 4,500 were included in the final evaluation. Only information from IT employees who work in Germany is included in the evaluation. For the first time, we are also making the questionnaire available in English so that IT employees who do not speak German can also take part. Please forward the survey accordingly!
The survey is anonymous. There is also something to win!
The results will be published on Golem.de in autumn once they have been analysed in detail. Then there will be answers to questions such as: Which companies are IT specialists particularly satisfied with? Which employers would they recommend? Which achieve good teamwork and a good work-life balance? Who pays particular attention to sustainability or diversity in the team?
