Foto-Software:Update für ACDSee Pro 3 ermöglicht Betrieb auf Netbooks
Für die Windows-Fotobearbeitungssoftware ACDSee Pro 3 ist von ACD Systems ein Update veröffentlicht worden, das auch den Betrieb auf Netbooks mit geringer Auflösung erlaubt. Bislang passte das Interface nicht auf Displays mit weniger als 1.024 x 768 Pixeln Auflösung.
Das Update für ACDSee Pro 3 enthält ein neue Interface-Farbgebung. Bislang war nur eine grauschwarze Oberfläche verfügbar, nun gibt es alternativ auch eine hellgraue Ansicht, die den üblichen Windows-Designs stärker ähnelt.
Damit alle Bedienelemente der Oberfläche auch bei kleinen Displays zu sehen sind, hat der Hersteller einige Layoutanpassungen vorgenommen. Nun können auch Bildschirme mit Auflösungen von 1.024 x 600 eingesetzt werden.

Das Rohdaten-Entwicklungsmodul soll bei großen RAW-Dateien nun deutlich schneller zu Werke gehen. Dadurch kann der Benutzer schneller zum nächsten Bild oder Modus wechseln.
Neue Ansichtsoptionen
Außerdem lässt sich im Ansichtsmodus zum Vergleich mit dem bearbeiteten Foto der unbearbeitete Zustand darstellen. Die Entwickler haben zudem eine Option eingebaut, Entwicklungseinstellungen oder Bearbeitungen auf ausgewählte Bilder endgültig anzuwenden. Das soll den Speicher entlasten, der die einzelnen Bearbeitungsschritte sonst für Undo-Operationen sichern muss.
Der ACDSee Pro Foto-Manager 3 ist in die Bereiche "Verwalten", "Ansicht", "Verarbeiten" und "Online" unterteilt und erinnert damit an die Stufenkonzepte von Adobe Photoshop Elements und Lightroom. Ein Ebenenkonzept, wie es Photoshop und andere Bildbearbeitungsprogramme haben, fehlt beim ACDSee Pro Foto-Manager ebenso wie Werkzeugspitzenpaletten.
Das Update für ACDSee Pro 3 (öffnet im neuen Fenster) kann kostenlos von der Herstellerwebsite heruntergeladen werden. ACD Systems verlangt für die Vollversion der Software rund 125 Euro. Wer bereits ein Produkt von ACDSee lizenziert hat, kann die neue Software für rund 88 Euro erwerben.
